Let’s talk about a power couple! Meghan & Taron are truly such a wonderful duo and I had the honor of planning their big day back in June 2023! When I first spoke to Meghan, she mentioned she wanted a destination wedding in California and wanted to create a whole experience for all of their guests. Not to mention her style is perfection and the design was so fun.
Since they live in Buffalo, New York, trips to California were minimal but she knew Malibu was where she wanted to be. We searched for venues high and low and landed on what we thought was going to be their ultimate dream venue. For months we planned for this venue and had great plans, however, fast forward one month before the big day, Meghan & Taron made the toughest decision to cancel their contract with their original venue due to some major difficulties and policies they put in place after contract.
With this new information, it was a mad dash to find another venue. With one phone call and one zoom meeting later with the bride, we were off to the races with a brand new venue in a matter of hours! Malibu Dream Resort was the perfect location to host all of their closest family and friends. It was intimate and their design came together perfectly. This wedding holds a special place in my heart and this couple is the absolute best and really rolled with all the punches.
