Sam here! I am so excited to share the incredible wedding of Kathy and John with you on our blog! Planning this wedding was an absolute blast. Kathy had her heart set on a tropical, colorful theme, and I couldn’t have been more excited to create something vibrant and unique for them.
The design process was so much fun! Kathy gave me the idea of a tropical glam theme, and I took it and ran with it. The wedding took place at Montage Laguna Beach, and it truly felt like stepping into a tropical paradise. The ocean backdrop added to the magical setting, and the lush tropical blooms by Three Petals made it feel like a true oasis.
During cocktail hour, we had a custom luggage tag escort wall for their 300 guests. It was a hit, and guests loved taking them home as keepsake favors. The 360° bar with a custom vinyl banana leaf print and the stunning gold metal structure with floral clusters stole the show. And let’s not forget Tyler Varnell’s mesmerizing saxophone performance that left everyone in awe.
The reception was nothing short of fabulous, with lush florals showcased throughout the ballroom. Kathy and John’s choreographed first dance and heartwarming father-daughter dance brought tears of joy to everyone’s eyes. Not only was it a gorgeous wedding, but the guests were so excited to celebrate! Everyone danced the night away. I couldn’t get them off the dance floor if I tried!
Kathy and John were such a sweet couple to work with, and it was truly an honor to bring Kathy’s dream of a tropical paradise wedding to life. Congratulations again, Mr. & Mrs. Nguyen! I wish you both a lifetime filled with love and happiness! Love and miss you already!
