It’s always a pleasure to work with a family more than once, and planning Jordan and Chad’s wedding was a true joy, especially after having the privilege of planning Chad’s twin sister’s wedding just last November! Their family exudes warmth, and it was a delight to be welcomed back to create another unforgettable celebration with them.
For their venue, Jordan and Chad chose the Inn at Mattei’s Tavern in Los Olivos. This charming spot, nestled among vineyards and historic oak trees, was the perfect match for the couple’s vision of a warm and elegant evening. The inn is truly a hidden gem, offering a relaxed yet stylish atmosphere ideal for the kind of celebration they wanted: intimate, meaningful, and focused on connection.
From the start, Jordan and Chad expressed that their main goal was to make their guests feel at home, almost as if they were sitting down to a dinner party with their closest friends and family. The ceremony itself was deeply personal, set against the beautiful backdrop of the venue’s gardens, with close friends and family gathered to celebrate their marriage. It felt both intimate and tasteful—exactly what they had envisioned.
The dinner setup played perfectly off the venue’s charm, with long tables dressed in understated, elegant details that complemented the warmth of the inn. The tables were adorned with soft florals and candles, giving the evening an inviting glow. They opted to forgo several of the traditional formalities, choosing instead to live in the moment and celebrate the relationships that matter most.
But the real showstopper? The dance floor! Jordan and Chad went all out with a fun twist—DJ Juan Castro played under a ceiling of giant, floating balloons that transformed the space into a festive, joyful scene. Jordan made the CUTEST dress change before hitting the dance floor with Chad, and from then on, they and their guests danced the night away. It was a night of love, laughter, and memories, all crafted with such authenticity and intention. Their focus on being present with one another and their loved ones truly set this celebration apart and made it one to remember.
