Sam Here! The Gerths wedding was a perfect way to start off this spring season! There’s nothing better than an April bride who isn’t afraid of color. That was Brittany- a dream bride from start to finish! From the moment I met her I knew that the planning process and wedding day were going to be so much FUN! We hit it off immediately and got right to work bringing this flirty and beautiful design to life!
Brittany and David live in San Francisco, so our in-person meetings were minimal. We didn’t let that stop us though, as we made sure to get as much planning done and things checked off her list when we were together. The long days of planning helped our bride-planner relationship blossom into a true friendship, which I credit for the success of such a beautiful wedding day.
Their colorful florals were the perfect complement to the charming Spanish character of Rancho Las Lomas! We went with lush pink, orange, and blue flowers, which were flawlessly arranged and installed by (Jenny/floral by Jenny.) We also fully upgraded the tabletop to incorporate more unique and lively details: fringe chargers, scalloped dinner plates, gold flatware, colored glassware, and soft blue napkins.. Not a detail was missed! Brittany and David’s love was reflected in all the vibrant elements!
Jonathan Salazar added to the romance in their air, playing the acoustic guitar paired with his angelic voice. He had the guest swooning while they took in the music from not one, not two but three elegant lounge sets in pink and blue hues (Brittany couldn’t decide—so we went with all three!) The beautiful custom signage with delicate lettering by Heidi Davidson was the perfect touch to tie it all together.
We wanted to create an experience that their loved ones would remember for a lifetime and based on the smiles, laughter, and happy tears of everyone there (myself included), it’s safe to say their wedding won’t be forgotten!
It’s not everyday a bride becomes a dear friend, but I am happy to say Brittany and I have kept in touch since she’s become a Mrs! I already miss Brittany and her family so much! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Gerths! I wish you a lifetime of love and happiness and I am so excited to see what is in store for you next!
