At the stunning Balboa Bay Resort in Newport Beach, Amanda and Collin’s wedding was a vibrant celebration of love and friendship. I, Caroline, had the pleasure of designing and executing this memorable day, where bright yellow and white florals set the stage for a lively introduction to spring.
Amanda was a poised and organized bride with a clear vision for her big day. Together, we worked tirelessly to bring her ideas to life, ensuring every detail was just right. Throughout the process we grew to be great friends—a friendship that will last for years to come.
The ceremony, overlooking the ocean, was officiated by a friend who doubled as a comedian, adding a touch of humor to the ceremony while still honoring the sanctity of the couple’s love. Guests laughed and cried (as did I!!).
As guests enjoyed cocktail hour, the bride and groom popped some bottles and poured into a champagne tower to kick off the festivities. Guests took “mirror pics” in a mirrored seating chart custom-designed by She’s Cloudy Calligraphy, while they sipped on signature cocktails oceanside.
The reception was bright and airy, and guests had a blast with Downbeat Agency’s live DJ group keeping the energy high. Amanda and Collin tore up the dance floor with their friends and family (see the pics!! lol).
We had a dream team of vendors, with Lucas Rossi expertly capturing every moment, and Flowers By Cina providing stunning blooms that welcomed everyone into the spirit of spring weddings. Haley at Balboa Bay Resort made my life easy as a planner, helping me to anticipate anything that might arise.
As the night came to a close, I couldn’t help but feel so sad knowing our time together had ended. I’m grateful for the memories made and the friendship forged throughout the planning process.
