I have to admit, being in the wedding industry I felt a bit of pressure when it came to planning my own wedding. I’m sure anyone being in the industry has felt this way, but I really tried to let that thought in my mind go, and focused on what WE ultimately wanted in our wedding, and that was to have an epic celebration. Don’t get me wrong, I still wanted all of the gorgeous details and thankfully with an AMAZING vendor team we were able to accomplish that. We both love the color blue, so incorporating that soft blue palate in the wedding was a must. We later chose the venue and we went searching for a setting that had a relaxed, fun, and pretty vibe. The Huntington Bay Club stole our hearts right away and it really spoke to us and both of our personalities. It was truly meant to me.
Our wedding day was an absolute dream. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day, and being on the other side of things (as a bride, not a coordinator) it was surprisingly easy letting go of the reigns. I entrusted everything on my PL fam and they made it happen FLAWLESSLY (I mean, DUH!) and even gifted me some of my beloved Cheeto Puffs on the day-of (They know me too well!). For me, it wasn’t about having the biggest or the most elaborate wedding. It was about the people that we wanted surrounding us on our special day and how we wanted to make them feel and how we wanted to feel. We danced, we drank, we cried, we laughed, and we loved. So much love filled the air that day and that’s all we ever dreamed of. Thank you so so so much to all of our incredible vendors, our family and our friends for making our wedding day so unforgettable. I wish we can relive it all over again, but thanks to my dear friend Devon Donnahoo Photography we were able to relive our day through her AMAZING photos! Cheers to us now being in the married club!
