Where do I even begin to describe how this wedding has filled my heart? I first met Carley while I was planning her sister Samantha’s wedding and of course not only was Samantha amazing but so was Carley (and a shout out to their amazing mom PAM!). Fast forward to Carley getting engaged, we had a zoom since she lives in Chicago and that was that! Let the wedding planning begin! Even though she lived in Chicago, we never missed a beat and planned the best wedding day!
Fast forward to an epic wedding weekend in Chicago that I will never forget! The Pure Lavish team arrived and got to work setting up their boat welcome party that was along the Chicago River at sunset and WOW! What a memorable night getting to know Carley and George’s family even more!
Now to the wedding day! Anyone who lives in Chicago knows the weather can be unpredictable and of course just our luck that’s exactly what we got on wedding day! Sunny skies went from flash floods and downpour rain from half the morning up until just before ceremony but of course our team was set and ready with an indoor ceremony!
Let’s get to the good stuff, the DESIGN! Carley wanted the wedding to be sleek, modern and sexy and wow did we achieve that!! From the tall candelabras for the head tables, to the mixture of high centerpieces and rows of roses and candlelight, the space was dreamy yet bold! Carley and I took every space of the wedding into account from the sleek menus to the watercolor specialty cat drinks and cocktail napkins, to the marble stone place cards and of course last but definitely not least…Carley surprised her fiancé George with an ice luge of his dream motorcycle and boy was he surprised! The whole night was truly memorable, the Eisenburg family was so warm and welcoming to the Kypraios family who traveled all the way from Greece was shown such hospitality and it seemed like the night never ended!
I am SO beyond thankful for my amazing couple Carley and George Kypraios for entrusting me with their entire wedding weekend and for Katrina Jayne Photography for capturing every amazing moment! Mr. and Mrs. Kypraios we MISS you and we can’t wait to be back in Chicago!!!
