Johanna and Max’s wedding day was the perfect balance of timeless elegance and thoughtful design, beginning with a beautiful ceremony at Mission Basilica San Juan Capistrano before transitioning to the Inn at the Mission for cocktails, dinner, and dancing.
The reception featured classic white florals, soft neutral tones, candlelight, and elegant details that complemented the historic setting beautifully. One of my favorite details was upgrading the head table linen, which added an extra layer of texture and made the couple’s head table feel especially elevated.
Then came the after party, where we completely shifted the atmosphere. The space transformed into a moodier, more intimate lounge with a totally different energy from the reception. It felt like an entirely new party, giving guests a fun transition as the night continued.
From the historic ceremony setting to the elegant reception and unexpected after party transformation, every part of Johanna and Max’s day felt intentional, beautiful, and completely their own.
