Hi there! Tori taking over as I excitedly get to blog about my very own wedding! YAY! The day has finally come where I got to marry my best friend! It was truly the best feeling and most amazing day celebrating with our closest loved ones.
One of the most important aspects for our wedding was that we wanted it to be out of the box yet still romantic and timeless! This came down to our wedding colors, design, entertainment, and much more! Being a wedding planner, you tend to see the same trends (which is totally not a bad thing) however, my (now) husband and I were both on the same page with wanting our wedding to be a fun experience for our guests.
We included mustard yellow and sage green into our wedding colors, fun carnival games at cocktail hour and Jacob even had a pocket square made from real florals! That’s not all! Of course we had to include our fur babies, Aldo and Carter and named our signature cocktails after them – The Aldo Spritz and The Carterita. Not only did we include carnival games at cocktail hour, we also had hand-spun cotton candy as well as fresh mini donuts for dessert during reception. Another sentimental touch we added was that we named the tables as places where our love grew. Since we had our favorite people celebrating with us, we wanted to include our favorite places! Excited to share our special day with you!!
